Blakeslee Prestress, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of precast and prestressed concrete products. We are seeking a motivated Estimator to join our Marlborough, Massachusetts team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in Construction, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field who wants to build a career in commercial construction and preconstruction estimating.

What You'll Do

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Prepare labor and material estimates and detailed bid proposals.

• Prepare 3D models and Colored Renderings using Blue Beam Revu.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Field Operations, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Assist with conceptual budgets, forecasts, and project proposals.

• Participate in contract scope discussions and negotiations.

What We're Looking For

• Post Secondary Education with a Bachelor's degree/diploma in Construction, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field. 

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Knowledge of construction means and methods.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD or BIM software is a plus.

• Ability to travel periodically throughout the Northeast and to our Connecticut office as needed.

• Reliable personal transportation for business travel.
